- What style of painting do you ascribe your
works to?
- I consider, that my paintings
are made in the style of modern impressionism with
the elements of symbolism
- Why did you choose this very style of painting?
- It was chosen not by chance, as the theme of
psychology, depths and mystery of human mind has always been close to
me, and exactly this painting style gives me an opportunity to make the
surrounding people see my vision of everyday situations, emotions and
processes, which are taking place in the depths of human
subconsciousness, and to visit kingdom of eternity.
- For how long have you been creating
paintings and writing books?
- In earnest I devoted myself to creating paintings and
writing books being an adult person. After receiving pedagogical
education I decided not to proceed with my perfection in this trend, but
to choose my own way and continued the study of psychology. Later I have
decided to publish all my theories, comments, that was the way the book
“Magic of the Soul” appeared. But writing novels in verse I
have been engaged in since my school times, I was carried away with
immortal works of Shakespeare, fairy-tales of Pushkin, Ershov and others
and this fancy gradually reincarnated in serious fascination of writing
the novels in verse. In its turn I have always been creating the
paintings, expressing in such a way my emotions and thereafter the
emotions of the world surrounding me. Creative work embodies a great
number of manifistations: fine art, music, literature etc. and all
representatives of creative professions will not manage to explain you,
where they ladle their ideas from, the way they create their works. In
truth the people of art create their works with the help of some kind
spiritual intuition, not following the rules and standards. They create
the things, which are felt intuitionally.
- What is your opinion of other artists’
works?

I have deep respect for them, yet at the dawn of human society unknown
to us artists made cave paintings and then after a lapse of millenniums
the collection of world painting contains hundreds of names of great
creators, whose canvases enchant us to the present time. I can’t help
feeling amazement with the works of contemporary artists, many of them
being worthy in fact.

Will you tell something about yourself
- Well, what can I say, I was born on January 5, 1967,
in Russia, in the family of a military man. Frequent moves from father’s
dislocations, new surroundings, permanent changes opened in me an
ability to understand feelings, emotions, desires of other people. Over
the years, having devoted much time to books, studying and analysing
experience of many ancient and contemporary scientists and philosophers,
I understood, that the art will make an integral part of my life and my
way.

What is the attitude of your family towards such occupation?
- My family always supported me and now supports all my
decisions.
- What are you working on at the present
time?

Now I’m working on a new novel in verse, it is a story with a rather in
my opinion interesting plot, but in fact it can be estimated only by the
readers. As for the painting, I’m planning to create a series of works,
devoted to emotions, feelings of people, belonging to ancient
civilizations, and their reincarnation in our world. As of today it is
just a project only, and its realization will demand much time and
force.

- What can I wish? Certainly I wish them good books,
to enjoy worthy works of fine art, prosperity and opportunities to put
your dreams and projects in life.
